H-Town Assassins Erupt for 13 Goals in Win Over WCFD
5/29/2026
The H-Town Assassins put together a dominant offensive performance, defeating WCFD 13-5 in a high-scoring matchup that saw H-Town pile up goals across all three periods. WCFD opened the scoring with an early goal from Matt Gilroy, but H-Town quickly answered and took control of the game. Ben Bevington scored off a feed from Finn Getz, Courtenay Batcha added another, and Curtis McGriskin followed with a goal assisted by Batcha. Gilroy struck again for WCFD with help from Ivan Arnone and James Frey, but Victor Bech-Hansen closed out the first-period scoring for H-Town. The second period is where the Assassins broke the game open. Luke Batcha scored three times in the period, with assists coming from Jon Auerbach, Erik Arfalk, and Sam Getz. Bech-Hansen added his second of the game from Andrew Bevington, while Peter Misthos scored off a pass from Rich Baumann. Andrew Bevington then added two goals of his own, both assisted by Courtenay Batcha, with Curtis McGriskin also picking up an assist on the second one. WCFD got second-period goals from Gilroy, completing his hat trick, and Chris Stanish, who was set up by James Frey. In the third, WCFD added one more when Shawn Bray scored from Ivan Arnone, but H-Town kept rolling. McGriskin scored his second of the game with assists from Ben Bevington and Presley Arnone, and Bevington capped off his big night with another goal to finish the scoring. Andrew Bevington and Luke Batcha each recorded hat tricks for H-Town, while Courtenay Batcha had a strong playmaking night with a goal and three assists. McGriskin added two goals and an assist, and Bech-Hansen chipped in two goals as part of a deep offensive effort. For WCFD, Matt Gilroy led the way with a hat trick, while James Frey and Ivan Arnone each added two assists.
Mayhem Pulls Away as Pruksarnakal Holds Replacements to 1 Goal
5/28/2026
Mayhem picked up a strong win over the Replacements, using balanced scoring and a big night in net from Jackson Pruksarnakal to control the game. Mayhem opened the scoring in the first period when Reid Tenzer buried a goal off a feed from David Paccione. The Replacements responded in the second period on the power play, with Mark Feuerstein scoring off an assist from John Meyer to tie the game. Mayhem answered back later in the second, as Greg Fishbein found the back of the net with help from Reid Tenzer to restore the lead. From there, Mayhem took over in the third period. David Paccione scored off another Tenzer assist, Stephen Guarducci added a goal from Pat Urban and Rob McMillan, and Dan Murphy capped the scoring with assists from Paccione and Josh Stone. Pruksarnakal was excellent in goal for Mayhem, making several key saves and stopping a couple of breakaways to keep the Replacements to just one goal. Tenzer led the offense with a goal and two assists, while Paccione had a huge all-around night with a goal and three assists.
Led by F. Getz, H-Town Assassins Pull Away in Third to Beat Replacements
5/22/2026
H-Town Assassins and Replacements were locked in a tight game through two periods, but H-Town took over in the third to earn the win. Finn Getz opened the scoring for H-Town in the first period, striking at the 12-minute mark to give the Assassins an early lead. Replacements answered later in the period when Rob Jaworski scored with 5:45 remaining, tying the game and setting the tone for a competitive matchup. In the second, H-Town regained the lead when Andrew Bevington finished off a play from Wei Wu and Jon Auerbach at 7:30. Replacements responded again, with Tylel Chittenden scoring from Corey Burns with one minute left in the period to make it a tie game heading into the third. H-Town goalie Mike Monfett came up big in the second, making several key saves to keep the Assassins in position to take control. The third period belonged entirely to H-Town. Jon Auerbach scored from Finn Getz and Curtis McGriskin to put the Assassins ahead, and Getz followed with his second goal of the game off a feed from McGriskin. Curtis McGriskin then capped off the strong final-period push with a goal of his own. After two tight periods, H-Town’s third-period surge and Monfett’s timely saves proved to be the difference in the win over Replacements.
